I'm a web and graphic designer by trade and one of my primary hobbies is home brewing. In a fusion of the two I've taken a lot of time to make wine labels for bottles. Normally I don't bother using really nice labels on a bottle since it's just for in-home consumption but if i'm going to gift some of my creation to a friend or family member I've found that they're really impressed with good quality labels.

To that end, i'm making some of my designs available for free on this site. See the images below and feel free to use them at your discretion. I retain ownership of the images but grant the public unlimited license to use them as they will.

Will you make labels for me?

Absolutely, my trade is as a graphic deisgner and I will be happy to work with you for your own custom label if you're not happy with anything you see below.

Pre-configured Sack Mead Labels: Completely Free – click on them below and print out the large version that opens after clicking. Text changes are not available on the free labels.

Basic Custom Labels: $19 - These are the same labels as the pre-configured labels you see below, but I will change out the one graphic for you to something of your choosing and I will change the text for you. I can also leave them blank for you to write in your own text.

Premium Custom Labels: $49 – These are truly works of art and usually take several hours to complete. I will add any number of logos/graphics/colors you or I can locate and add any amount of text. These also include a back label to display any text you like. (see example below). They do truly look professional when printed.

Rush Design: $20 - I will put your job at the top of the stack and make you a priority project. Most rush jobs can be completed in 1-2 days. Standard turn-around time for a label is 1-2 weeks otherwise. 

How does the deal work?

First off, you don’t pay a dime until you’re happy with the design. I’m very big on customer satisfaction and can provide a list of professional references a mile long. We will bounce the idea back and forth until you’re happy with the design. I will watermark the proofs I send you by email and then remove the watermark upon agreement on the design and payment.

You will receive an electronic PDF file in full color so that you can print the labels off yourself or take to your local print shop and have them printed. You are not paying me to print self-adhesive labels. You're paying me to design labels for you so that you can print them. The file will not be editable so you can’t change text, but if you have ordered labels from me in the past I’ll give you free minor text changes for a year just in case you change your mind on something

Again, because I am an artist my work falls under the same ownership laws of all artwork. I retain ownership of the designs and the original editable files, but you have unlimited usage to do with them what you like since you commissioned the work. Trust me, I’m not out to nickel and dime folks. I want you to be happy with my work and tell your friends.

I accept payment only via paypal at the moment. Paypal is fast and secure and you can use your debit or credit card.
